Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency mentioned it's alarmed with regards to the higher quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This really is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area each day. The services issue made for intervention encounters a higher inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it challenging with SRD the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional sources to help the servicing of all consumers and maximize use of Social Assistance services,” more info the agency said.
